ARES Realworld

ARES Realworld turns every room into a training area. No screen is used as target, but any objects in the room can be selected as target. This provides variety and allows countless creative training situations. ARES Realworld does not need a video projector, which keeps the costs for setting up a system very low. Even a color filter in front of the camera is not absolutely necessary even if it is recommended to improve shot detection - especially if movements in the image cannot be prevented or are even desired.

Targets are simply marked directly in the camera image and thus integrated into the game. The flexible marking tools make it possible to quickly integrate even complexly shaped targets. Targets can also overlap or be nested within each other, making it easy to evaluate the hit of a target, for example. Furthermore, targets can be marked with special functions to start the game by shooting at such a surface. The individual targets can be given individual names and a point value, negative points are also possible. The color display of targets and hits is freely configurable.

In addition to the game mode of the classic target there is also a time game where the goal is to hit all targets in the shortest possible time. As in the Project ARES game, there is a random delay before the start of the game, during which a shot leads to disqualification.

The free version is limited to four targets and one camera. The licensed full version can manage any number of targets and also supports several cameras at the same time, so that a whole room can be turned completely into the target area. The program as well as a PDF manual can be downloaded in the Download area.
